The single image to create this video was taken 1/8/17 - approx 8:50pm EST Equipment: 10" F/4.7 Dobsonian Reflector with 5mm Vixen LE Eyepiece (280X) Conditions: Clear, Light Wind 2F Seeing: 6-7
Have excluded satellite transit, dirt in the optical train, and it would have to be the most amazing digital artifact ever to create such a startling image. And I think it`s logical to assume no natural lunar forces could create such a symmetrical object. Object is approximately 1/4 - 1/2 mile across. Original image processing consisted of light contrast/brightness and sharpening.
Great webpage buddy, I am going to notify this to all my friends and contacts as well.
