  1. More! More! More Karen Kudes! It's like your mind waking out of infancy, and recognizing who are your benefactors and who your malefactors.

    1. Ditto Mark Novitsky! When a biological system outlives its usefulness, its decay expresses itself as putrefaction. When a social system outlives its usefulness, its decay expresses itself as criminality.

      Dear atlan,
Need you be reminded that you yourself are a biological system? My experience tells me that the older one gets, the more beauty shines through.

Here's to an awakening among the criminals. Cheers.

    3. Thanks for reminding me that there's beauty in old age. I wouldn't argue that. Frankly, seeing the imbecilities of my youth mirrored in the young people I come into contact with these days, even many of the best of them; I'm reminded of what a golden age the last years of life truly are. That stretches the metaphor beyond what I intended. For, even though my mind is better than it's ever been (to take myself as a personal example), my physical body is still decaying; and it requires constant, and increasingly self-serving, attention to keep it from putrefying in one organ or another, so as to stave off the inevitable descent into death. So I don't expect to be training for any future try at the Olympics. Likewise, I don't see any regeneration of moral health among the obscenely wealthy, who can't seem to spare a farthing to help me and those like me keep the homeless veterans I'm increasingly compelled to share my meager retirement funds with, so they won't starve or freeze to death. This human filth who hold the reins of power and are truly the sole benefactors of the system -which is "by, for, and of" them- embody the essence of the social system at this point in history. Since the system is theirs, there's no alternative within the system to reform themselves to. For them, to reform themselves would mean getting rid of, or at least enslaving, all other sectors of the population who don't fit the needs of their system and can only pose a threat to their continuing survival. And they seem to be flinging off the fig leaves of law and social propriety to do just that. It's called "fascism", and it's the only "awakening" such psychopathic personalities are capable of.

  2. Jim,

Just as she brought up her JFK anecdote, you go into your familiar and all too pat JFK monologue instead of asking her follow up questions. I wish we got to hear more about her inside information instead of you regurgitating your didactic self promoting speech, even if true.

    1. I have a friend who goes mad hearing Frank Sinatra.
      It baffles me.

    2. Freeride,

I don't necessarily like to point out people's faults, but in your case, I'll make an exception. After all, life is about growth, no?

You say "I totally understand your friend...

Freeride, how can you expect to 'totally' understand someone you have never met and know virtually nothing about, except this mutual aversion to good music?

      ...yet cannot explain it myself."

If you 'cannot explain it myself,' then, if I were you, I would not be so quick to shoot my mouth off.

I'll end my sermon with this: As a high school bus driver before I 'retired' I put a homemade sign in my bus that read: HABITUAL PROFANITY REVEALS INFERIOR CHARACTER.

Let's all hope this is Freerides turning point in his use of language.

      Peace

    3. Well, Dick Campbell, inferior character or not, I'm not one of those kids in your bus, so, GO FUCK YOURSELF, really, and if you do not like or understand my comments you can move right along instead of imposing your morals on someone you don't know.

Just so you know, because things don't seem to be clear for you, I will say, or write whatever the fuck I want, the way I see fit even if it goes against your personal enjoyment. In any case, continue to hope we'll see how that goes.

      =)

    4. Another sign I put up in my school bus was:

      POLITENESS PAYS

      ...pearls before swine.

  3. Mark is great on subject of Obama. What he says is true and I think most important truth to express to America, including truth community. You can have all the proof, and it won't do anything. True reform can only happen, as Tarpley says, by taking power. I hate when 911 or JFK researchers start to think that results will happen if only they make the most credible argument to the lay audience or media, as if they are neutral observers instead of co-conspirators. We are way past the point where we need evidence to make our case; and even discovering unaltered Zapruder film or getting signed confession by George HW Bush would not achieve anything but more apathy and censorship. We need instead to implement revolutionary actions and focus widespread alienation into definite cooperative movements with specific goals.

  5. Off this topic but I'm sure of interest to TRDers: Russ Baker on Obama and JFK records.

    1. His article on the topic is just awful--vague allusions to people with cynical intentions and the Pollard affair being diversion from the then-raging Iran/Contra affair. He also repeatss that Pollard's sentence was "draconian" over and over. I posted a comment in which i said that the piece reads more like advocacy than journalism. i went back to the page abt 24 hrs later and he hadn't responded.

Generally like Baker, have corresponded with him off and on over the years, but this piece was disgraceful, and whether or not one thinks Pollard was wronged in some fashion.
