  1. Unlike you, Josh IS an intellectual, and I don't appreciate your trashing him. He is doing overwhelmingly more to promote the truth about Canadian and world affairs than your crappy posts here. I find you completely disgusting.

    1. Ian aka Black Knight is a very experience blogger. A few weird grammatical constructs tell nothing in particular. He changes his style as he wishes, especially when his cover is blown. Bottom line is you have had two characters on the blog who keep repeating the same stuff on and on and on. This is a better approximation than the style, which can be easily changed, unlike the brain.

    2. Take out the ad homs, apsteria, and you can post. But there is a very high ratio of rubbish and anti-Semitic content. If you can make your case without going overboard, you can post; but if you insist on replicating your nasty style and attitude again and again, we will delete your posts again and again.

  2. The guest seemed to believe IQ is a crucial factor. As Eckhart Tolle said: All that IQ tests show is your ability to solve little puzzles. Intelligence is so much vaster than that he said.

I believe people broadly have the same level of intelligence. What we need is artificial general intelligence (AGI). IBM's Watson beat the best human players in Jeopardy. Although that's a step forward it's a narrow form of AI. What really will make a difference in the world is the emergence of AGI.

    1. That is not correct. There are significant genetically-based difference in intelligence. See, for example, THE EVOLUTION OF INTELLIGENCE (2005), which discusses this in some detail.

    2. @Jim Fetzer That depends on how intelligence is defined. On a biological level the human brain has the same basic construct for all humans, with slightly different neural connections between the female and male brain.

My points are 1) IQ is a poor and narrow measurement of intelligence, and 2) artificial general intelligence will enhance the intelligence level by many orders of magnitude.

Say hello to the technological singularity. :-)

    3. Jim, did you deal with Stephen Jay Gould's book "Mismeasure of Man" in your book you listed?

  3. This guy is a self proclaimed Marxist and pro immigration.
Well, he does think Israel did 9-11 so he must be okay.
