Jim, I heard you bring up Wim Dankbar a couple times in this show, and never hearing you comment on this before, I was wondering what your feeling was on James Files? Thank you for your great shows!
While Files appears to know a great deal about the assassination -- I give him an accuracy rating of about 80% -- he does not appear to have been there. He does not mention the limo stop, which set up his shot. If he had been there, he would have spoken about it right away. And the idea that he was casually introduced as a shooter the morning it would take place is simply preposterous. This was a meticulously planned event and nothing was left to chance. I find the Remington "Fireball" interesting as a possible assassination weapon, however, and more plausible than his having been one of the assassins. I regard Wim Dankbaar as a sincere seeker of JFK truth, but in this case, I think he has not through this through and is wrong in his belief that Files was one of the assassins.
