I know it's only Wikipedia, but Farrah Fawcett was said to have been born 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Most of the bomb testing was in Nevada. So the testing program was just started and it was some distance away. On your show, Ms. Moret says Ms Fawcett was born with colon cancer. She has no source given for the "fact". She also says that Steve McQueen had gotten cancer from the bomb tests as well. What I know about McQueen was that he worked as a merchant marine, and had done a lot of work near exposed asbestos piping in the ships. His cancer, mesothelioma of the lungs, is most commonly found in asbestos workers. Generally I have found that Moret makes some extraordinary claims, but she doesn't offer much in the way of sourcing. I think the Fukushima disaster is horrific, which is all the more reason that we should be careful in believing the claims that Ms. Moret makes.
Unless my memory is failing me (which is far from impossible at 70 years of age), but, when Farrah Fawcett was dying, many articles in the mainstream press identified her as having had colon cancer when she was born--so I think you are wrong on that one, Nigel. And Steve McQueen died of leukemia from the effects of having been in a fox trench 1000' from a bomb test at the Nevada test site. He was a nuclear veteran, so I think you are wrong on that one, too. Since I have found Leuren Moret to be an extremely courageous and highly knowledgeable geoscientist, I think you have had your three strikes. She can speak for herself, but I find nothing of merit in your post and every reason to suspect that it was planted here to distract from the stunning findings that we discussed.
You claim that there are articles reporting that Farah Fawcett had congenital colon cancer from your own research. Would you kindly cite the sources for Fawcett's congenital cancer? You claim that McQueen was present at some of the atomic bomb tests. Could you kindly cite your sources that show McQueen was present at some of the bomb tests? I disputed two of Moret's claims. So that would be two strikes that you say I windmilled on. I am not connected with any larger agenda or organization, and I feel this is just a fallacy of yours of "attacking the man", and not the argument. And I ask that either you or Moret give your sources. Additionally, I think it would be a good idea to leave a list of bibliographic references for any claims made in your shows. I do give you deference for your age and failing memory. So I could see that as being a pardonable error on your part if you can't give citations.
As to Moret's credentials, I have good reason to believe they are puffed up. Here are a couple of references:http://www.archive.org/details/LeurenKMoret-RealJobAtLawrenceLivermoreNationalLaboratoryhttp://www.archive.org/stream/LeurenKMoret-RealJobAtLawrenceLivermoreNationalLaboratory/MoretAndFulkLivermoreEmployment#page/n0/mode/1upI am sure Ms. Moret has a good cover story.
I read up more on the Moret interview, and she claims that the Spaghetti Westerns were filmed on former bomb sites in Nevada. Moret seems ignorant of what a Spaghetti Western is. Spaghetti Westerns were filmed in Spain or Italy because the production costs were cheaper for the European production companies. The fact that John Wayne was in a movie on location in Nevada shows that he was not in a Spaghetti Western. Unfortunately for Moret I have been quite a fan of Steve McQueen and Western movies.
Nigel,I can't get the link you posted to work. Archives.org tell me there's an error and the item cannot be found. You have a copy?
Perhaps there is larger conspiracy to deny that Ms. Moret ever worked at Lawrence Livermore Labs for more than a year. Could Ms. Moret come up with work related memos, W2's, and IRS tax forms to show that she did work there for more that a year? Perhaps the memos could show what her classification was as an employee.
Thanks,I was able to see that one. Monet is a strange individual, I’ve listened to a few of her interviews. She keeps blabbing about radiation from Japan but never checks where it matters. There are numerous reports of high level of radiation, notably and expectedly in Hawaii. This is a link for the Hawaii. I have it copied if it’ deleted. http://www.hawaiihealthguide.com/healthtalk/display.htm?id=915 Not a peep about this.Another strange thing Monet does is never back up her claims about Haarp through some data. There is a French Satellite called Demeter. It detects EM act ivy. It’s the one that capture the abnormalities over Japan and Haiti. Demeter’s web site has data from the last 7 years or so. Not one of these Haarp researchers ever talks about it, nor do they use it’s data to try to prove Haarp involved. The Japan quake’s Demeter data was unusual because it had EM act ivy where there where no quakes. It had EM activity over the ocean on the western part of Japan. There where no quakes there. Japan also had a sudden weather change after the quake. It went against the normal direction of Japan’s Jet steam. The weather change was in the area of the unexplained EM activity. What also they fail to explain is why all of Japan back up generators failed. There is one more odd event in Japanese earthquake. It has to do with earth magnetic field’s collapse.Hers a you tube about it. If it’s gone I still have ithttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xBi1JVBetw&feature=channel_video_titleHere’s another one that’s similar but from 2008-2009? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzNcdiflygg&feature=channel_video_titleI am adding it to show you that this happens regardless of where the earth is in it Sun cycle ( the 11 year one). Many claim that this is due to the explosion on the sun, but the sun’s explosion have gotten weaker and it happens in a down period too.
Thank you for research. I, too, have heard of the weakening of the earth's magnetic field. My doubts doubts on Moret's character would have never arisen without her statements of fact that are just not necessarily so. Some of these statements are very obvious misstatements. I'll have to look up the Demeter satellite.
Oh, I found a video on youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzXYyhmv-Ug ,where Moret claims that an old R&R center was used as a place to house human slaves in cages at Fort Ord. I looked up Stilwell Hall and found out it was as a place for soldiers to drink up and listen to big band music. The place is one big chamber on the first floor. I have found no mention on the internet of Stilwell Hall being an MKUltra site other than what is attributable to Ms. Moret. Does she have any documents from scientists and psychiatrists stating their studies at Stilwell Hall? I would think with it being so close to the living quarters and traffic of soldiers, someone would have heard something like a scream. How would you dump dead bodies in a place like that? Clint Eastwood bartended there. I have found out that much.
Wikipedia contributors are having a hard time finding reliable sources for Ms. Leuren Moret's biography. You'll find many skeptics of the sourcing for Ms. Moret's bio. It seems most of the sources are self referential to Ms. Moret.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Leuren_MoretI know, Jim, that you took epistemology of the nature of knowledge in your course work as well as doing some papers on it. I am a mere mortal in comparison to you in that regard. I would do more research on Moret if I were you.
Thanks, Nigel. I appreciate your advice. If she has made mistakes, that is only human. But I am most appreciative for your concern. Many thanks.

Hello Dr. Fetzer:Thank you for your sourcing. Would it be possible for you to say Ms. Moret was mistaken in some of her comments? It would be bigger of you to say so than to use the word, 'if'. But again, thank you.
