    Does the New Testament supersede the Old Testament in Christianity as well. The Old Testament has some pretty severe stuff...

      Yes. Christians should follow the teachings of Christ. New Testament, specifically the Gospels, specifically the teachings of Jesus. Which all boils down to the golden rule. Very simple.

    Far from all Jews follow the Talmud, a lot of them think it's a crazy book full of dangerous hateful nonsense.
